Many Hispanic veterans played a vital role in protecting democracy and keeping our nation safe

Today we honor veterans and active duty military personnel for their sacrifices and contributions to keeping the world safe. Here are several examples of Hispanic veterans commitment and service:

In 1918, at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month World War I officially ended and in remembrance of the sacrifices of those who served, Armistice Day was created. Since 1954 we in the US have recognised today as Veterans Day.
